Secret 7” takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. Creatives from around the world are invited to interpret the words and meanings of one of those chosen tracks.
For 2020 I designed a sleeve for the Foo Fighters song "This is a call". The idea for the sleeve came from the lyrics ' Fingernails are pretty ', I wanted to create something using typography but obviously not using the track title or artist. I initially wanted to use real nail clippings to create the design however I realised I didn't have enough myself and didn't really want to start a collection. So instead I created it digitally but I think it came out pretty well and gives the idea of fingernails.
