Secret 7” takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. Creatives from around the world are invited to interpret the words and meanings of one of those chosen tracks.
For 2018 I chose the song I’m Not Down by The Clash. The idea behind this design was to take it quite literally and show objects that are ‘not down’, the design style took inspiration from old punk zines and kept the colours minimal. The cover went on display at Greenwich Peninsula in London for two weeks and then went on sale to the general public with all proceeds going towards Mind charity.
